1/4 in. Tile Spacers, 100 Pieces
Tile spacers set and hold a consistent grout joint while thinset or mastic cures. The cross-shaped body drops into the intersection of four tiles, or turns on edge to space two tiles along a single seam, keeping courses square and the joint width uniform from the first tile to the last.
Moulded from flexible plastic so the legs flex slightly under pressure without collapsing, they are set flush with the tile face and pulled before the setting bed hardens, leaving the joint clear and full depth for grout. Supplied as a bag of loose pieces for use with wall and floor tile in any pattern where a wide joint is specified.
A 1/4 in. joint is typical of larger-format floor tile, tumbled and hand-made stone, and rustic or saltillo work where tile edges vary enough that a narrow joint cannot be held straight.
