An empty sand bag supplied flat and filled on site, used wherever loose ballast or a temporary water barrier is needed. Filled roughly two-thirds full and folded or tied at the neck, it conforms to uneven ground and stacks into a low wall or stable weight.

Sand bags are consumable jobsite items. They hold down staging, tarps, signage and temporary fencing, weight the feet of scaffolding and barricades, and divert or dam surface water during concrete work, excavation and storm events. Because they are filled at the point of use, the same bag can carry sand, gravel or site soil.

The white fabric shows dirt and wear plainly, which makes it easy to spot bags that should be pulled out of a stack and replaced.
