Fine Grout, 80 lb. Bag
Fine grout is a preblended cementitious mix of portland cement and fine aggregate, supplied dry in a bag and mixed on site with water. It is poured or pumped into the cells, cores and cavities of masonry construction, where it flows around reinforcing steel and bonds to the surrounding units so that the wall acts as a single structural element.
The fine aggregate gradation is what distinguishes it from coarse grout: with no large stone in the mix, it flows into narrow cavities, tight cells and small grout spaces that a coarse mix would bridge. Grout is placed at a high slump, much wetter than concrete, because the dry masonry absorbs part of the mixing water after placement.
Supplied in a bag for jobs where a ready-mix truck is impractical, such as small pours, patch work, repairs and grouting a limited number of cells.
Key Features
- Preblended dry mix of portland cement and fine aggregate - add water and mix on site
