A two-panel interior door slab with a hollow core construction, used for closets, bedrooms, bathrooms and other rooms inside a conditioned space. The 1-3/8 in. thickness is the standard interior door thickness, so the slab works with common interior hinges, bored locksets and passage sets and fits a standard interior jamb.

Hollow core doors are built from a thin skin bonded over a stile-and-rail perimeter frame with a lightweight internal grid. That makes the slab far lighter than a solid core door of the same size, easier for one person to hang, and less demanding on hinges and jambs. The two-panel face carries a raised or recessed panel profile that reads as traditional millwork without the weight or cost of stile-and-rail joinery.

The slab is supplied without hinge gains or a bored lock hole unless otherwise noted, so hinge locations and the lock bore are laid out to match the existing jamb. The perimeter frame allows the usual light trimming for width and height.
