Vinyl cove base is a flexible resilient wall base used to finish the joint between a finished floor and the wall. The cove profile has a curved toe at the bottom that sits against the floor, closing the gap left by resilient sheet, tile or plank flooring and directing mop water and dirt away from the wall line.

Supplied in a continuous coil rather than cut lengths, a roll lets long straight runs and corridors be finished with fewer seams. The vinyl is pliable enough to be formed around outside corners with a heat gun and to be cut and folded for inside corners, and it tolerates the slight irregularities found in most substrates.

Installation is with cove base adhesive troweled or applied to the back of the base, then rolled or pressed tight to the wall. The grey colour is a common choice in commercial corridors, back-of-house areas and mechanical rooms where a neutral base is wanted.

Key Features

• Cove profile with a curved toe that closes the floor-to-wall joint over resilient flooring
