A single flat glass panel intended for use as a shower door or fixed enclosure panel. The 10 mm thickness is the heavier of the two common shower glass gauges and is used where a frameless or semi-frameless look is wanted, since the panel is rigid enough to hang from hinges or clamps without a surrounding metal frame.

Glass used in bathing enclosures is tempered so that it resists impact in service and, if it does fail, breaks into small granular pieces rather than shards. Tempered panels are cut, drilled and edged before heat treatment, so the panel arrives finished and cannot be trimmed, notched or drilled on site.

Hardware, seals and threshold trim are selected separately to match the panel thickness and the hinge or roller system being used. Verify the rough opening, out-of-plumb of the walls and the hinge or clamp pattern against the panel before ordering.
