A hollow core interior door slab with a two-panel face, sized for a standard residential rough opening and standard interior door thickness. Hollow core construction uses a solid perimeter stile-and-rail frame with a light internal grid and thin molded or flat skins, which keeps the slab light enough for one person to hang on standard butt hinges and easy to handle during trim-out.

The slab arrives unbored and unhinged, so hinge gains and the lockset bore are laid out on site to match the existing jamb or a new pre-hung frame. The molded panel profile gives the face relief of a traditional stile-and-rail door without the weight or cost, and the skins take primer and latex or alkyd finish paint.

Hollow core doors are intended for interior use only in dry, conditioned space. They are not suited to exterior openings, unconditioned garages or locations where sound isolation or impact resistance is the priority.
