36-in-round-nose-vinyl-stair-tread-black-vs36bkr
36 in. Round Nose Vinyl Stair Tread, Black

Vinyl stair treads are surface-applied wear covers that fit over existing stair treads to provide a durable, slip-resistant walking surface. The round-nose profile wraps the leading edge of the step, covering the nosing so the tread and nosing are protected by a single piece of material.

Homogeneous vinyl wears evenly through its thickness and resists scuffing from foot traffic, which makes it a common choice for service stairs, basements and multi-family common areas where painted wood or bare concrete would wear quickly. Treads are typically set in tread adhesive or epoxy nosing cement over a clean, sound substrate and rolled down to seat the nosing.

The black finish hides dirt and marking in high-traffic runs and pairs with matching vinyl or rubber stringer and riser pieces for a finished stair assembly.

Key Features

Vinyl construction for resistance to scuffing and everyday foot traffic

Round-nose profile wraps and protects the stair nosing in one piece

Black finish that conceals dirt and scuff marks in service areas

Textured walking surface to help maintain footing on stair runs

Installs over existing wood, concrete or metal pan treads with tread adhesive

Can be trimmed on site with a utility knife or shears to fit tread width

Sold individually so runs can be counted tread by tread

Applications

Basement and utility stairs in residential work

Common-area and back-of-house stairs in apartment and multi-family buildings

Renovation of worn wood stair treads without full replacement

Concrete or metal-pan stairs in commercial and institutional buildings

Rental property and maintenance repairs where individual treads are replaced

Stair runs finished with matching vinyl risers and stringer covers

Product Details

Type: Stair tread cover

Nose Profile: Round nose

Material: Vinyl

Color: Black

Nominal Length: 36 in.

Sold As: Each

Installation: Adhesive-applied over existing tread

Specifications

Size

36"

Material

Vinyl

Finish

Black

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1012/7743/4195/files/arch-placeholder-coming-soon_a4174e63-ca33-4bcb-a405-3e5c64cb83a0.webp?v=1790259900
