DESCRIPTION

CT Shaftwall Stud is a rigid steel framing member specifically engineered for shaftwall systems. Designed to work with 1" gypsum shaftliner panels, it securely holds panels in place within its flanges, ensuring structural integrity and alignment.

Commonly used in elevator shafts, stairwells, and vertical enclosures, CT Shaftwall Stud provides a lightweight, cost-effective alternative to traditional masonry or CMU construction—while maintaining fire-resistance performance.

This stud is installed with J-Tabbed Track at the top and bottom, creating a friction-fit system that allows for consistent spacing and efficient installation.
