Hydro Board Shield is a roll-form waterproofing membrane used as a moisture barrier over roof decks, sheathing and other board substrates. It is supplied in a single continuous roll so a run can be laid out and lapped without cutting more seams than necessary.

Sheet membranes of this class work by shedding and blocking liquid water at the face of the substrate, keeping the board beneath it dry while the finished roofing or cladding is installed over top. Courses are rolled out, aligned, and overlapped at the side and end laps so water always drains over a seam rather than into it.

Because the material comes as a flexible sheet, it can be worked over plane changes, valleys and around penetrations where a rigid product cannot follow the substrate. Fastening or adhering method, lap widths and exposure limits should follow the manufacturer's printed installation instructions for this product.
