12-in-x-12-in-light-gray-square-mosaic-tile-sheet-mtslg
12 in. x 12 in. Light Gray Square Mosaic Tile Sheet

Mesh-backed mosaic tile sold by the sheet, made up of small square tesserae in a light gray tone. Sheets of this size are the standard format for mosaic, letting a large area be set in one pass instead of placing individual chips.

The backing mesh keeps the joints evenly spaced and allows the sheet to be cut with a utility knife between rows to fit a run, or nipped and trimmed at outlets, corners and edge profiles. Sheets butt together so the grout joint between sheets matches the joints within them, and the small unit size lets the tile follow gentle curves and shallow slopes such as a shower floor draining to a center drain.

Set in thin-set mortar over a sound, flat substrate and grout with a joint size to match the factory spacing. Because mosaic has a high proportion of grout joint to tile face, substrate preparation and full mortar coverage matter more than they do with large-format tile.

Key Features

Small square tesserae arranged on a mesh-backed sheet for fast, evenly spaced installation

Light gray color that reads as a neutral against both warm and cool finishes

Sheet can be cut between rows with a utility knife and individual chips nipped for fitting

High joint-to-tile ratio gives the finished surface more texture and traction than large-format tile

Flexible backing lets the sheet conform to sloped and gently curved surfaces

Set with standard thin-set mortar and grouted with a sanded or unsanded grout to suit the joint width

Sold by the piece, one sheet per unit

Applications

Shower floors and sloped pans draining to a center drain

Bathroom and powder room floors

Kitchen and bar backsplashes

Accent bands, borders and niche linings in tiled walls

Feature panels behind vanities and tubs

Small commercial restroom floors and wall accents

Product Details

Product Type: Mosaic tile sheet

Mosaic Shape: Square

Color: Light gray

Sheet Size: 12 in. x 12 in.

Backing: Mesh-mounted sheet

Installation: Thin-set mortar, grouted

Sold By: Piece (sheet)

Specifications

Dimensions

12" x 12"

Color

Gray

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1012/7743/4195/files/12-in-x-12-in-light-gray-square-mosaic-tile-sheet-mtslg_b947deb9-9ad1-44a7-bd2f-1b5e86b06f11.webp?v=1791339567
