Hubs

A two-gang weatherproof outlet box with threaded 1/2 in. conduit hubs, intended for surface mounting where devices are exposed to weather, washdown or damp conditions. The hubs thread directly onto rigid or IMC conduit and fittings, so the raceway itself forms part of the seal instead of relying on a knockout and connector.

The box holds two devices side by side - duplex receptacles, switches, or a combination - and is finished with a gasketed weatherproof cover chosen to suit the devices inside. Hubs that are not used for conduit entry are closed with threaded plugs to keep the enclosure sealed. Mounting lugs on the back allow the box to be fastened flat to a wall, post or structural member with the conduit run exposed.

Key Features

Two-gang configuration accepts a pair of wiring devices side by side

Threaded conduit hubs for direct connection to rigid or IMC conduit and threaded fittings

Machined, gasketed cover seating surface for use with weatherproof covers and device gaskets

Unused hubs can be closed with threaded plugs to maintain the seal of the enclosure

Surface-mount design with integral mounting lugs for fastening to walls, posts or framing

Suited to exposed conduit systems where flush boxes are not practical

Sold individually as a box; covers, gaskets and plugs are separate items

Applications

Exterior wall receptacles and switch locations on houses and light commercial buildings

Surface-mounted device boxes on exposed rigid or IMC conduit runs

Garages, workshops, barns and other damp or unfinished interiors

Decks, patios, porches and yard equipment outlets

Mechanical rooms, loading docks and service areas subject to moisture or washdown

Two-device stations combining a receptacle and a switch in one outdoor enclosure

Product Details

Product Type: Weatherproof outlet box

Configuration: 2-gang

Hub Size: 1/2 in.

Size: 4 in.

Mounting: Surface mount

Hub Type: Threaded

Use Location: Outdoor, damp and wet locations when fitted with a weatherproof cover and gasket

Unit of Measure: Each

Specifications

Dimensions

4" x 1/2"

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1012/7743/4195/files/4-in-2-gang-weatherproof-outlet-box-1-2-in-hubs-14567121252.webp?v=1790734460
