Gator Shampoo Paver and Stone Cleaner

Gator Shampoo is Alliance Gator's general-purpose surface cleaner for hardscape work, sold as a concentrated liquid that is diluted with water before use. It is formulated to lift ground-in dirt out of the surface of concrete pavers, wetcast units and natural stone so the paving reads at its natural colour again rather than the grey film that traffic, soil and weathering leave behind.

The manufacturer specifies a mixture of one part product to four parts water, applied to a pre-wetted surface with a pump sprayer or watering can, scrubbed with a stiff bristle brush and rinsed off before it can dry. It contains no muriatic or hydrochloric acid, washes off with water, and according to Alliance is not intended as an efflorescence cleaner - that mineral haze needs a dedicated acidic product.

Because it does not attack polymeric sand joints or surrounding planting, it suits maintenance washing on finished installations as well as clean-down before sealing. Alliance advises testing on a small hidden area first, working out of direct hot sun, and keeping the paver surface wet from start to finish.

Key Features

Concentrated liquid cleaner diluted one part product to four parts water before application

Removes dirt that has penetrated the surface of paving units and restores the pavers to their natural colour

Contains no muriatic acid and no hydrochloric acid

Washes off with water and will not affect grass, flowers or plantation

Does not negatively affect polymeric sand joints, so it can be used on installations already sanded

Applied with a pump sprayer or watering can and worked in with a hard bristle brush, then rinsed thoroughly

Not an efflorescence cleaner; mineral salt deposits require a separate efflorescence product

Manufacturer directs testing on a hidden area first, keeping the surface wet throughout and not applying in hot sun

Applications

Concrete paver patios and terraces

Sidewalks, walkways and entry landings

Wetcast slabs and steps

Natural stone paving and flagging

Segmental retaining walls and freestanding wall units

Maintenance washing of existing hardscape installations

Surface clean-down ahead of sealing

Product Details

Brand: Alliance Gator

Product Line: Gator Clean

Type: Paver and stone cleaner

Form: Concentrated liquid

Dilution: 1 part product to 4 parts water

Coverage: 1 U.S. gal. diluted with 4 U.S. gal. of water cleans approx. 375 sq. ft.

Suitable Surfaces: Concrete pavers, wetcast units, slabs, walls and natural stone

Acid Content: No muriatic acid, no hydrochloric acid

Specifications

Volume

1 GAL

Brand

Alliance Gator

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1012/7743/4195/files/alliance-gator-1-gal-gator-shampoo-paver-and-stone-cleaner-pavershampoo1g.webp?v=1790734610
https://arch-9365.myshopify.com/products/alliance-gator-1-gal-gator-shampoo-paver-and-stone-cleaner-pavershampoo1g
