12-in-x-12-in-square-mosaic-tile-sheet-dark-gray-mtsdg
12 in. x 12 in. Square Mosaic Tile Sheet, Dark Gray

Square mosaic tile supplied on a mesh-backed sheet, with individual tesserae set at a uniform spacing so the joints line up from sheet to sheet. The dark gray colorway reads as a mid-to-deep neutral that works with both warm and cool grout choices.

Mosaic sheets install much like a large tile: comb out thin-set with a notched trowel, bed the sheet, beat it in flat so the mesh is fully embedded, and keep the field square as you butt sheets together. The small unit size lets the sheet follow shallow slope and curvature, which is why mosaic is the usual choice for shower floors and drain pans, and why sheets can be cut with nippers or a wet saw to fit fixtures and corners.

Sheets are sold by the piece, so quantity takes off directly from the square footage of the field plus an allowance for cuts and waste.

Key Features

Mesh-backed sheet format holds the individual square tesserae in alignment during setting

Dark gray coloring for a neutral field that pairs with light, matching or contrasting grout

Square tesserae laid out in a straight, gridded pattern

Small unit size lets the sheet conform to sloped and gently curved substrates

Cuts with a wet saw, mosaic nippers, or by trimming the backing mesh between tesserae

Set in thin-set mortar over a properly prepared and waterproofed substrate

Sold by the piece for takeoff by sheet count

Applications

Shower floors and pans where the tile must follow slope to the drain

Bathroom and powder room floors

Kitchen and bar backsplashes

Accent bands, borders and niche interiors within a larger tile field

Feature walls and wainscot in wet areas

Curved or radiused surfaces such as tub decks and columns

Product Details

Product Type: Mosaic tile sheet

Tessera Shape: Square

Sheet Size: 12 in. x 12 in.

Color: Dark Gray

Backing: Mesh-backed sheet

Sold By: Piece (sheet)

Color Code: UC27

Specifications

Dimensions

12" x 12"

Color

Gray

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1012/7743/4195/files/12-in-x-12-in-square-mosaic-tile-sheet-dark-gray-mtsdg.webp?v=1791339566
