A flush interior door slab with a smooth medium-density fiberboard face and a solid core. The flat, featureless face suits contemporary interiors and takes paint cleanly without the shadow lines or panel profiles of a moulded door.

The factory primer coat seals the MDF and gives a uniform base for finish painting on site; the slab still needs light sanding between coats for a smooth final film. Solid core construction gives the door noticeably more mass than a hollow-core slab, which helps it hang steadier and dampen sound between rooms.

Supplied as an unbored slab, so hinge gains, the lock bore and latch mortise are cut to suit the opening and the hardware being used.
