Outside corner moulding, also called corner guard, is a small L-shaped trim used to cover and protect the exposed outside corner where two wall surfaces meet. The profile wraps the arris so drywall edges, panelling ends or plaster returns are hidden behind a clean, consistent line.

This piece carries the #67 profile and comes primed, so it is ready for finish paint after nailing and filling. A factory primer coat also seals the surface, which reduces grain raise and gives topcoats a more uniform sheen than bare stock.

Installation is conventional trim work: cut square butt joints or scarf the ends on long runs, bed the moulding on the corner, fasten with finish nails or brads into the framing behind, then set the heads, fill and sand before painting.
