An outside corner mitre joins two runs of K-style gutter where they meet at an external building corner, keeping the fascia line continuous and carrying water around the corner instead of over it. The fitting is preformed to match the standard K-style profile so the front bead and back leg line up with the gutter on both sides of the joint.

The mitre is installed over the cut ends of the adjoining gutter sections, fastened with gutter screws or rivets and sealed with gutter sealant on the inside of the lap. The white finish matches common white aluminum gutter and downspout components, so no field painting is required on a white system.

Sold as a single fitting. Two runs of gutter, a strip miter or box miter of the correct hand, and sealant make up the complete corner.
