Gutter Tail Piece, Brown
A tail piece is the transition fitting that carries water out of a hung gutter and into the downspout. It drops into or attaches over the outlet hole cut in the bottom of the gutter run and provides a short collar that the first length of downspout or an elbow slips onto.
The brown finish is intended to match brown gutter, downspout and trim, so the fitting disappears into the fascia line rather than standing out at each outlet. Installation follows the usual sheet-metal practice: cut or punch the outlet, seat the tail piece, fasten with rivets or screws, and seal the joint on the inside of the gutter with gutter sealant.
Sold individually, so quantities are counted one per downspout location on the job.
