Trim coil is flat painted coil stock used to wrap window and door casings, fascia, rake boards, frieze and other exterior trim so that wood details are covered with a finished, maintenance-free skin. The coil is unrolled, cut to length and bent on a portable brake to match the profile being covered, then fastened with trim nails or held by the siding and receiver channels around it.

This roll carries two finish colors, bronze on one face and white on the other, so a single roll can serve two color schemes or provide a contrasting interior and exterior face on the same bend. The factory-baked finish is applied over the coil before forming, so bends and hems keep their color without field painting.

Coil is worked with standard trim tools: a coil cutter or snips for rough cuts, a brake for hems and returns, and a hand seamer for closing folds and stiffening long edges.
