1-1/2 in. x 8 ft. Aluminum Angle with Holes
Aluminum angle in an 8 ft. length with a 1-1/2 in. leg, pre-punched with a row of holes along its length. The holes let the piece be fastened with screws, bolts or rivets without drilling on site, which makes it useful as a light trim, edge or corner member where the fasteners fall on a regular spacing.
Extruded aluminum angle is dimensionally consistent, cuts and drills with standard carbide-tipped or metal-cutting blades, and can be bent or notched with common metalworking tools. Unlike bare steel it does not rust, so it holds up in damp or exposed locations and in contact with weather.
The equal-leg L profile stiffens an edge and gives two fastening faces at 90 degrees, which is why angle is a common choice for reinforcing corners, protecting exposed edges and tying two surfaces together.
