20 in. x 80 in. x 1-3/8 in. 2-Panel Solid Core Door
A solid core interior slab with a two-panel face, sized for a standard residential door opening. The two-panel layout is a common traditional profile used in bedrooms, closets and secondary rooms, and it pairs with typical colonial or craftsman casing without looking out of place.
Solid core construction means the slab is filled rather than hollow, so it feels substantially heavier in the hand than a hollow core door and does a better job of damping sound between rooms. The slab is supplied unbored and unhung, so hinge gains, the lock bore and the latch mortise are cut on site to suit the existing jamb and hardware.
The face takes primer and paint in the normal way. Slabs of this width are frequently used where the rough opening is narrow, such as closets, bathrooms and utility rooms in older housing stock.
