48 in. Vinyl Stair Tread, Gray Round Nose
Vinyl stair treads are molded rubber-like coverings that fit over an existing or new stair tread to provide a durable, slip-resistant walking surface. The round-nose profile wraps the leading edge of the step, protecting the most heavily worn part of the stair and giving a finished appearance without separate nosing trim.
Treads of this type are bonded to a clean, sound substrate with a compatible tread adhesive and rolled or weighted until set. The homogeneous vinyl body takes traffic and cleaning without a surface coating to wear through, which makes it common in commercial stairwells, multi-family buildings and back-of-house stairs.
The gray color is carried through the material rather than applied to the surface, so scuffs and edge wear stay less visible over time.
