Gator Hybrid Seal Low Gloss is a water-based paver sealer from Alliance Gator, built on 100% pure high-grade acrylic and intended for dry cast concrete pavers. It penetrates into the paver pores and forms a film at the surface, helping resist penetration by oil and dirt, corrosion from de-icing salt, and the effects of UV exposure.

The low gloss version leaves no color enhancement, so the pavers keep their dry, natural appearance rather than taking on the darkened wet look produced by enhancing sealers. It also acts as a joint stabilizer, binding the top of the jointing sand as the film cures, which is why the manufacturer's sequence calls for the joints to be sound, clean and fully hardened before the sealer goes down.

Application is by sprayer in manageable sections, back-rolled with a water-base foam roller to pull out puddles and even the film. Surfaces should be clean, free of efflorescence and coatings, and cool to the touch; the sealer is rain-safe once it has had a full day to set.
