Floor patch is a dry patching and levelling compound used to repair and smooth concrete and masonry floors before a finish floor goes down. It is mixed with water to a trowellable consistency on site and worked into low spots, spalls, holes and gouges, then screeded or feathered out flush with the surrounding slab.

The material is intended for interior repair work where a flat, sound substrate is needed for tile, resilient sheet, VCT, carpet or coatings. Because it is supplied dry in a bag, only the amount needed for the working time in hand has to be mixed, and the balance stays usable as long as it is kept dry.

Surfaces should be clean, structurally sound and free of dust, curing compounds, sealers and loose material before patching; follow the manufacturer's mixing ratio, working time and cure time before covering the repair.
