A storeroom-function lockset intended for hollow metal doors and metal frames. Storeroom function means the outside knob or lever is always fixed and locked: entry requires a key, and the latch cannot be left in an unlocked state from the outside. The inside knob or lever is always free for egress.

This function is specified where a door must relock every time it closes, without depending on anyone to turn a button or thumbturn. It is the usual choice for utility rooms, electrical and mechanical closets, janitor rooms and stock rooms, where the door needs to stay secure but still allow free exit from inside.

Supplied as a single lockset for door preparation typical of commercial metal doors, with latch and strike for use in a metal frame.

• Intended for hollow metal doors and steel frames, with latch and strike for frame installation
