Ready-mixed joint compound for taping, filling and finishing gypsum board seams. It is supplied premixed in a sealed pail, so it needs only stirring before use rather than proportioning and mixing dry powder on site.

Compound of this type is applied in successive thin coats with a taping knife or finishing trowel, allowed to dry between passes and sanded smooth to blend the joint into the surrounding panel face. Being air-drying rather than chemically setting, it stays workable in the pan and can be reopened as long as the pail is kept covered.

The smaller pail size suits patch work, repairs and small rooms where a full 4.5 gallon bucket would harden before it is used up.
