Flexible corner bead is the drywall trim used where an outside corner curves rather than runs straight — the head of a curved opening, a radiused wall return, a barrel or elliptical ceiling detail. The bead has a scored or segmented spine so it can be bent to follow the radius while its two legs stay flat against the board faces.

It installs like any corner bead: fasten or staple the legs to the drywall along the curve, then bed and feather the nose with joint compound in successive coats. Once coated, the bead gives a consistent, finishable edge that resists the chipping a taped-only corner would suffer.

Supplied as single lengths, one piece per curve where possible so there are no butt joints to hide in the finish.
