Protective caps that slip over the exposed ends of vertical or horizontal reinforcing bar on a jobsite. Cast-in-place work routinely leaves dowels and starter bars projecting out of footings, slabs and walls for days or weeks, and a cap covers the cut end so the bar is visible and less likely to catch clothing, tools or skin during forming and pour work.

Sized to fit a range of bar diameters from #3 through #11, the caps press onto the deformed bar and hold by friction on the ribs. They are reusable from pour to pour as long as the body is not split or crushed, and they are typically installed and pulled by hand without tools.

Sold individually so a crew can order the count needed for the bar actually protruding on a given lift rather than a fixed carton quantity.
