28 in. x 80 in. x 1-3/8 in. 2-Panel Hollow Core Door
A hollow core interior door slab with a two-panel face, sized for a standard residential interior opening. The slab ships unbored and unhinged, so the installer lays out hinge gains and bores the lock and latch to suit the existing jamb or a new prehung frame.
Hollow core construction uses a stile-and-rail perimeter frame with a corrugated or honeycomb interior support and thin skins bonded to both faces. The result is a light door that is easy for one person to hang and that takes paint readily, which is why it is the usual choice for bedroom, closet and hallway openings in residential work.
The panel profile is molded into the face skin rather than assembled from separate stiles and panels, giving a consistent shadow line along both sides of the slab.
