A flat-panel interior door slab with a hollow core construction and a factory primer coat. The face skins are smooth and flush, with no molded panel detail, giving the plain modern profile used throughout apartments, closets and secondary rooms.

Hollow core slabs are built from thin face skins bonded to a perimeter stile-and-rail frame with a light internal lattice or honeycomb filler. They are noticeably lighter than solid core doors, which makes them easier to hang on standard hinges and lighter on jambs, but they carry less mass for sound attenuation. The stiles allow trimming within the limits of the frame width and accept a standard bored lockset and hinge mortises.

The primer coat is a paint base, not a finish. Fill and sand any handling marks, then apply the finish coats of latex or alkyd enamel after hanging.
