A single-twist iron baluster for stair balustrades and interior railing systems. The square bar runs plain at both ends with one twisted section worked into the middle of the shaft, giving a traditional wrought-look pattern that mixes well with plain square bars and basket or scroll patterns in the same run.

Iron balusters replace wood spindles in a stair system without changing the treads, shoe rail or handrail profile. Installation is typically a drilled hole in the tread or shoe rail and a matching hole in the underside of the handrail, with the bar set in epoxy or secured with shoe plates and set screws. Ends can be cut to length on site with an abrasive chop saw or bandsaw so the baluster suits the rake angle and rail height.

Supplied as individual bars, so quantities are counted per opening according to the spacing required between balusters.
