A hollow core interior door slab with a flat, flush face and a factory primer coat. The slab ships unbored and unhung, so hinge gains, lockset boring and any trimming are done on site to suit the existing jamb or a new frame.

Hollow core construction uses thin face skins over a stile-and-rail perimeter frame with a light internal core, which keeps the slab light enough for a single installer to handle and hang on standard residential hinges. The flush face carries no panel detail or moulding, giving a plain surface that reads cleanly in modern interiors and takes paint evenly.

The primer is a base coat for finish painting, not a finished surface. It should be lightly sanded and top-coated after installation. Doors of this width are commonly used where a full-size passage door will not fit \u2014 closets, small baths and secondary rooms in older buildings.
