A flush interior door slab with a flat, seamless MDF face and a solid core. The medium-density fiberboard skin gives a dead-flat surface with no grain telegraphing, and arrives factory primed so it needs only sanding between coats and a finish coat of paint.

Solid-core construction adds mass over a hollow-core slab, which helps damp sound transmission between rooms and gives the door a firmer feel in the hand. The slab is supplied unbored and without hinge mortises, so hinge gains, lockset boring and edge bevel are cut on site to suit the existing jamb.

Intended for painted interior openings in residential and light commercial work, where a clean modern flush look is wanted rather than a stile-and-rail panel profile.
