32 in. x 84 in. Metal Door, Reverse Hand
A steel door slab in a 32-inch width and an 84-inch height, supplied in a reverse hand configuration. Handing describes which edge carries the hinges and which way the leaf swings, so a reverse unit is ordered when the opening swings opposite the standard hand and the hinge, lock and bevel preparations must be mirrored.
Metal doors are built from formed steel skins over an internal core and stiffeners, which keeps the slab dimensionally stable in conditions where a wood door would swell, warp or delaminate. The face is normally supplied with a factory prime coat that is intended to be finished on site with an appropriate paint system.
Typical uses are utility, service and back-of-house openings where durability and security matter more than appearance, including basement entries, mechanical and storage rooms, and rear exits.
