An apartment entry door supplied in a right-hand swing configuration. The handing describes the door as viewed from the outside of the opening: standing so the door swings away from you, the hinges are on the right and the knob or lever is on the left. Handing must be confirmed against the existing frame before ordering, since a door cut and prepped for one swing cannot be reversed in the field.

Doors in this size and configuration are the standard unit for multi-family corridor and unit-entry openings, where the leaf is prepped for a single lockset bore and hinge mortises on the strike and hinge stiles. Apartment entry leaves are typically heavier and more solidly constructed than interior passage doors to handle daily use and to accept a deadbolt or apartment-grade lockset.

This is a special-order item, configured per opening. Verify rough opening width and height, frame depth, hinge locations, bore height and any required rating with the building's requirements before the order is placed.
