Fiberglass reinforced panel (FRP) is a rigid wall panel made of a polyester resin matrix reinforced with glass fiber, produced in a standard sheet size for direct application over studs, gypsum board or masonry. The face is non-porous and typically carries a light pebbled texture, so it wipes down with detergent and does not absorb water, grease or food residue.

FRP is installed with a notched-trowel application of panel adhesive and fastened or clamped at the edges, with joints, inside corners and terminations closed up using matching PVC moulding and a bead of sealant. Sheets cut with a fine-tooth circular saw, jigsaw or carbide scoring tool and drill cleanly for outlet and pipe penetrations.

The panel is used wherever a washable, impact-resistant surface is required in place of painted drywall or tile, and is a common finish in commercial kitchens, food service areas and other rooms subject to frequent cleaning.
